Affordable Las Vegas Hotels
One of the more affordable hotels in Las Vegas is the Sahara Hotel and Casino. One of the old school Las Vegas hotels, it is more affordable than its big sister hotels that have opened at the southern end of the Strip. The monorail stops here, so you are directly connected to Las Vegas.
For a hotel in the middle of the action, the Excalibur Hotel and Casino is a good choice. It is close to MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, and NY/NY, but is usually priced somewhat lower. The rooms tend to be on the smaller side however this should not be much of an issue if you are only planning to use them for resting up between shows and gaming.
Even without the Internet, there are some great deals to be had at specific hotels in Las Vegas. Do keep in mind that prices may fluctuate from hotels, and weekdays are usually more affordable than weekend or convention days. and, lastly there are a myriad of things to do in Las Vegas besides gambling.
