Video Game Swords Make My Fantasys Real
Collecting movie swords is so awesome! What other hobby can you escape into a mythical time when the forces of good and evil were displayed in such clear cut lines? And then to hold those swords and feel like a part of the action! It’s practically breathtaking! That’s probably why I keep collecting more and more swords.
Those of us who collect swords are very passionate about our hobby. I think sometimes it’s more than a hobby, but a way of life. We look at life through our creative minds and know that anything is possible. Why? Because swords are tangible and available to actually hold and slash through the air. This is the only hobby I know of that lets you hold a piece of pure imagination.
Collecting movie swords isn’t like collecting other memorabilia. Fantasy swords are based on pure fiction, not on something where there’s already a preconceived notion of what they should look like. These swords are so uniquely different from anything else because they are limited only by the creator’s imagination and the craftsman’s skill.
When I bought my first movie swords, I thought it was just a one time thing. But then a few friends asked me where to buy good ones. After helping them in their search, I became a collector. I have ten of them now. I don’t know how that collection of one grew so fast, but I’m glad it did! It is a lot of fun searching for the latest swords.
