Many paper products, even the less expensive ones, are labeled “acid-free,” which suggests that they shouldn’t wash out or otherwise deteriorate when stored for a long time. There are also scissors that cut paper with an appealing edge. A pair of shears known as “deckle” scissors is really helpful for designing spectacular scrapbook pages, greeting cards, and other paper crafts. Or,if you also have a pair of pinking shears that are too dull to cut through fabric, you can use those for cutting out shapes and pictures.
Lots of paper crafts enthusiasts start with scrapbooking, but then extend to making their own greeting cards. These items do not have to have an original verse on the inside. A simple “Happy Birthday”, Hope You Feel Better Soon”, or even just ”Best Wishes” is enough to light up someone’s day, so don’t concern yourself about not being a good enough writer to create your own greeting cards.
Rubber stamps often help to create pretty greeting cards. You can also attach small beads,ribbons and other items to your hand made cards. A handmade card is very likely to please the recipient, whether or not they are a paper crafts enthusiast.
