Graduation Watercolor From A Friend
When my oldest daughter, Alice, graduated from high school a few years ago, she received many gifts. As one might expect, many people gave money, which works well for someone just starting out. Whether they are off to college, or starting life on their own in some other way, there are expenses that need to be paid. However, it is fun to receive a few well-chosen gifts. A friend of ours, Francie, who worked with Alice during the summer, is also an artist. One of the flower/gift shops in our area features her watercolor paintings for sale. Anyway, Alice received one of Francie’s small watercolor paintings as a gift. That remains one of her most treasured gifts.
